About Me
I studied sculpture at Camberwell and West Surrey schools of art, as well as Syracuse University in upstate New York. My current practice centres on the contemporary portrait from life and my primary materials are clay and wax for casting.
Life drawing has been a compelling lifelong pursuit and underpins everything I do - as process, as information gathering and as an art form in its own right.
Alongside self-generated work, I welcome commissions and am happy to work from life, from photographs or from imagination. My studio is in Westgate-On-Sea, on the Kent coast, but sittings at a client's home are also possible.
